In 2014 Local Logic Place undertook the research and development of The State of Mildura Rural City’s Children and Young People 2014 Report for Mildura Rural City Council. A first for the Mildura LGA the report drew together over 130 indicators reflecting the health, wellbeing and education outcomes of children and young people from across the municipality.
Reflecting the State of Victoria’s Children report’s layout and presenting Mildura data against Victorian data the report applied the ‘traffic light’ approach ensuring a user-friendly document and a solid benchmark moving forwards. Mildura Rural City Council is now using this resource to both guide internal planning and priority setting and also as a framework in partnering with other organisations and services to achieve improved outcomes for their children and young people.
