Understanding Teenage Pregnancy Across the Mallee, Mallee Children & Youth Area Partnership (2017)
The Mallee Children and Youth Area Partnership (MCYAP) commissioned Local Logic Place to gather research to better understand and articulate the current landscape that contributed to high rates of teenage pregnancy across the Mallee Area.
Local Logic Place informed and extended this local understanding of teenage pregnancy through the review of relevant local, national and international research and literature.
Local Logic Place also sought the views of young parents so that their lived experiences could strongly inform the work.
Sixty-three young parents across the Mallee shared their input via telephone interviews, online surveys or by attending a focus group and 152 key stakeholders who provide support to this cohort completed an online survey.
