Managed Individual Pathways (MIPs) Review, North Central LLEN (2018)

The North Central Local Learning and Employment Network (NCLLEN) commissioned Local Logic Place to conduct a review of the Managed Individualised Pathways Program (MIPs). The review was sought to garner the learnings, achievements and challenges of this essential service so that these learnings could be applied to the new Career Education Funding (CEF) model in 2019 and beyond.

Local Logic Place conducted a review of program data and developed a briefing paper for schools and key stakeholders ahead of the consultation process. Consultation involved:

  • Face to face interviews with school principals and key teaching staff from nine north central cluster schools
  • Telephone interviews with past students and parents; and
  • Focus group with NCLLEN and MIPs staff
