The WDPS Place Based Pilot commenced in November 2018, borne from conversations of the Collective. The model for systemic change in the Woorinen community, spring-boarding from the WDPS, is informed and driven by a working group consisting of local community members, school leadership and key local services and organisations.
A key initiative of the WDPS Place Based Pilot is the development of a part-time Child & Family Champion role, a .25 EFT position, located within the school to offer support and advocacy to school families.
